Effluent Treatment Expertise Built on Experience
My name is Simon Gresty, Director of Factory Installation Services. After leaving the military in my mid-20s, I began my career as a Service Engineer within the water treatment industry, travelling across the UK to service Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) and Activated Sludge treatment plants across a wide range of food manufacturing facilities.
This hands-on role gave me valuable experience in diagnosing operational issues, identifying faults, and implementing practical solutions to keep treatment plants running efficiently and reliably. It also helped develop my technical understanding of water treatment systems and strengthened my passion for the industry.
The discipline, organisation and practical mindset I developed during my military career proved highly transferable to project management within the water treatment sector. Over the past 10 years, I have managed the installation and commissioning of new DAF and Activated Sludge plant projects, overseeing work from initial planning through to completion.
This experience has included project coordination, customer communication, engineer and construction team management, and maintaining high standards of site safety throughout each stage of delivery. My focus has always been on delivering organised, proactive and efficient project execution, while ensuring each installation meets the needs of the client and the demands of the site.
