Proactive Effluent Plant Maintenance

Factory Installation Services approach to effluent plant servicing and maintenance is built around a structured and proactive maintenance strategy. We understand that treatment plant performance must not only be optimal immediately following a service, but also remain efficient, reliable, and consistently compliant until the next scheduled maintenance interval.

During each service, all critical treatment plant components are thoroughly inspected for blockages, wear, and potential damage. Components are also assessed for remaining service life to allow preventative replacement before failure occurs, minimizing downtime and operational risk.

Operational data is recorded and reported during every visit, including motor and drive run hours, dosing requirements, pH values, alarm conditions requiring further investigation, and any identified hazards or safety concerns.

Routine tank and pumping station cleaning are also carried out to remove debris build-up before it can cause blockages or system inefficiencies.

  • Complete system inspection for blockages or sediment build-up
  • pH probe calibration
  • Level sensor inspection and testing
  • Flowmeter inspection and verification
  • White water system checks
  • Pressure gauge inspection
  • DO sensor checks
  • Turbidity sensor checks

  • Sludge wasting procedures
  • Final effluent sampling to assess COD/BOD and nutrient removal performance
  • Sludge sampling to assess sludge age and biological diversity
